  • New game modes, including Mirror Match and Drum Roll
  • Exciting social features, such as group QR codes and quick chat from the home screen

New Brawlers: Barry and Clancy

In this update, Brawl Stars introduces two new brawlers: Barry and Clancy. Barry is an epic brawler who completes the Candyland Trio with Mandy and Chester. He throws globs of melted ice cream for his main attack, dealing damage over time to enemies standing in the puddle. His attacks also heal himself and his teammates. Barry’s super allows him to spin around and leave a trail of melted ice cream that deals damage and heals teammates. One unique trait of Barry is that he can charge his super by healing his teammates, making him a valuable support brawler.

Clancy, on the other hand, is a mythic brawler who automatically upgrades by hitting enemies with his attack. His super fires several paintballs in a fan-like shape, covering a larger area. As Clancy’s stages increase, his attack fires more paintballs, with the final stage firing four paintballs in diagonal directions. His super also gives him a speed boost. With his upgraded attack and wide range super, Clancy can deal significant damage up close. His upgrades may restart if he dies and respawns.

Mega Boxes and Classic Brawl Event

Mega Boxes are making a comeback during the Classic Brawl event. Players can collect star tokens to earn Mega Boxes, which contain multiple items such as new brawlers, coins, PowerPoints, bling skins, or even gems. Star tokens can be obtained through daily wins, special game modes, quests, and a Mega Box challenge. Players can choose to open the Mega Boxes right away or save them for later. During the Classic Brawl event, players can experience the original 3v3 game modes, mirror match, and drum roll, where defeating enemies changes your brawler.

Other Exciting Updates

Aside from the new brawlers and Mega Boxes, Brawl Stars is introducing several social features. Group QR codes make it easier to team up with friends, while the ability to keep your team after hitting play again streamlines the matchmaking process. Quick chat can now be accessed directly from the home screen, allowing for more convenient communication. Additionally, players can send friend requests at the end of the match screen.

Players will also receive double XP while playing with a team, allowing for faster progression. Other changes include the addition of the paint brawl game mode, which involves covering the map with paint, and various skin releases, including Viking Bull, Pirate-themed skins, gods versus monster skins, and more.
