Phantom

First up, we have the good old reliable Phantom. The Phantom is undoubtedly one of the best Valorant weapons in the game. It features a high fire rate, a large magazine size, and a silencer for spraying through smokes.

It also deals solid damage and has a very easy recoil, making it a very beginner-friendly weapon. It can’t one-tap at range like the Vandal, but it’s definitely good enough to compete with it.

Overall, it’s a very flexible weapon that is great in almost any situation. You often won’t run out of bullets unless you spray like a psycho, and you’ll always have an ADS for long-range fights.

Spectre

The Spectre is an automatic SMG that costs 1,600 credits. It’s quite similar to the Phantom in a few ways. They both offer high fire rate, have large magazines, and have a silencer to hide bullets. However, the most important thing is that they both have easy-to-control recoil patterns and spreads.

The Spectre’s easy recoil and spread make it a solid choice for beginners of any skill level. It allows the Spectre to be used in prolonged fights without the bullets going everywhere except your target.

It’s best used as a close to medium-range weapon, where you can spray at enemies until they die. Unfortunately, it starts to fall off the further away you get from enemies. It’s still an SMG at the end of the day, and it has its limitations.

Judge

Up next, we have the best close-range weapon in the game. The Judge is an automatic shotgun with a high fire rate and costs 1,850 credits. It’s excellent at quickly spitting out pellets and bombarding enemies before they even know what hit them.

It’s great for beginners because of its wide spread. You barely have to aim when using the Judge. Just make sure that the reticle is on top of the enemy and fire away until they die. You can also crouch to make the spread more compact and allow you to hit enemies a bit further.

Ares

The Ares is the only weapon in Valorant that gets easier to control the longer you spray it. If that doesn’t scream “beginner-friendly,” I don’t know what else will. It has a high fire rate, a large magazine, and only costs 1,600 credits.

Unfortunately, the Ares isn’t a great attacking weapon because of mobility issues. However, using one on the defending side, especially when you’re using an Agent like Sova or Fade, can easily get you kills for days.

Stinger

The final weapon we recommend for beginners is the Stinger. The Stinger has the higher fire rate in the game at 16 rounds per second and only costs 1,100 credits. It’s best used in close-range fights where you can easily overwhelm enemies with an entire magazine.

One of the easiest things you can do to get kills is to simply run and gun using the Stinger. Just make sure you’re at close range since it won’t work at any other distance. That’s why it’s a solid weapon for beginners.
