Skull and Bones players are diving into a whole new level of gameplay with a simple twist. Now I’m in a somewhat privileged position for this topic because I managed to grind out most of what I wanted/ needed before S1 dropped. I would still do daily wagers and fund all my territories daily and collect multiple times a day. As we all know the stinky French ships have made that particular gameplay loop a whole lot worse so I decided to not bother with any of the po8 stuff until it’s fixed and focus on the battle pass stuff. Since I stopped doing po8 grind and worrying about funding my territories and having to go pick things up it made the game so much more enjoyable and a chill experience again. I suggest you try doing the same if you haven’t given up completely.

Summary

  • Breaking away from Po8 grind revitalizes the gaming experience, offering a more relaxed vibe.
  • Players find joy in exploring the game world sans the pressure of Po8 objectives.
  • Ignoring Po8 shifts the focus to other gameplay elements, enhancing overall enjoyment.

The issue is you need sovereigns for the new armor and mortar. Sovereigns require Po8, and progress. Going tall and doing 2-4 locations is the best.

Out of genuine curiosity, what have you been filling your time with instead since you already have everything you wanted. Since Po8 is the primary end game system, I’d 100% like to know of other systems that would be worth grinding!

I have no problem with the PO8. I collect them with little to some degree of difficulty but mostly it’s pretty good.

The initial grind was painful but now I can just explore the world, there are actually a lot of small details everywhere if you take the time. I find it refreshing to hop in the dhow and sail down the rivers, hunting some animals as you go along, an activity I hadn’t done since the early stage of the game.

As soon as you can get the best loot from the Po8, it’ll be liberating.
